UK CUSTOM PLUGS X LUCY O'CONNELL - ARTIST SERIES

Here at UK Custom Plugs we're always striving to create unique products for our customers to enjoy and we pride ourselves on the highest quality of artwork and detail in all of our products.In the past we've worked closely with a select group of tattoo artists to create some of our most iconic plugs.

Now we are happy to announce our brand new UKCP Artist Series which will open the doors to work with lots of tattooists we've never worked with before, not only to shed light on these talented individuals but to continue to provide the best quality artwork possible.

Lucy O'Connell, working at Red Tattoo and Piercing in Leeds.

What first got you interested in the business?
I've been interested in tattooing since secondary school, I had older friends that wanted me to draw designs for them (which I now realise is massively annoying) and from then it became something I had to do. And luckily it worked out.

What's your favourite subject matter to tattoo?
I really love tattooing women and animals. There's just so much you can do with it.
What profession other than tattooing would you like to attempt?
So many, but I think I'd like to work in a zoo. Feeding tigers all day.

What profession would you not like to do?
Anything in an office, reading numbers all day.
What other artists are you digging at the moment?
Stu Pagdin, Xăm, Claudia De Sabe, Rose Hardy and Alix Ge
